Baka a.k.a Paboya updates: 20/2/06
For example, i watched Bridget Jones's Diary yesterday with Jasmine and we were totally lusting over the character Mark Darcy, whom colin firth so happens to play. I have no idea how he is in real life but i'm already infatuated with him, even if he's old, not that handsome. However he does have an alluring accent and charming presence.
Then, later that night i skimmed through the movie "Love Actually" and again, i gushed all over Rodrigo Santoro, nose bleeding everytime he appears in scenes. It makes me wonder are handsome, gorgeous guys all i'm ever interested in? What happens to all those who're average looking, but down to earth, wonderful, kind guys? Like someone once said,
Apart from all the prince charming talks and idolicity, (if tt's a word), i'm going back to studies, like my mom and all the clever people say,

Good Men.Where in the world can i find them? You know i should really be studying for my exams now but instead i'm slacking off and watching dramas and oogling at gorgeous, good, non-existent men from movies, dramas etc. Why can't there be someone who's like them but only exist in our reality? Ah, i get it, the reason why so many prince charmings exist in stories is because there isn't one any in the world and by creating these fictional characters it gives us women a chance to believe that maybe our prince charming is somewhere out there in the world, waiting fo us. And men, while they watch, it reminds them of how gentlemen they could be, and maybe just maybe realise their part in becoming these fictional characters.
